DeepSeek Harness
DeepSeek Harness takes headers, so Scrollhound connects with your token. It also reads skills. Once it’s connected, DeepSeek Harness can read Reddit, X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Hacker News in full and quote what it read, with a link on every quote. Scrollhound only reads: it never posts, likes or follows.
Add Scrollhound to DeepSeek Harness
Section titled “Add Scrollhound to DeepSeek Harness”In ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml, add the server with the @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client
plugin, transport: streamable-http, url: https://api.scrollhound.com/mcp and the header
Authorization: Bearer <token>.
It also reads skills from ~/.dsh/skills/; scrollhound skill install --print prints the
Scrollhound skill (see Install the skill).
Section titled “Sign in”DeepSeek Harness connects with your Scrollhound token rather than a browser sign-in. To get your token, run scrollhound login on your computer and copy the token value from ~/.config/scrollhound/config.json (see Log in). Treat it like a password: it lasts a year, and you can revoke it from your account page.
Try it
Section titled “Try it”Paste a link or ask a research question and say to use Scrollhound:
Use Scrollhound to read this thread in full and summarise the main arguments: <paste an X or Reddit link>Every answer quotes the posts it read, with a link on each. How results are laid out: Output format.
