Terminal window
scrollhound bookmarks connect

This opens api.scrollhound.com/connect/x, which sends you to X to approve read-only access (tweet.read users.read bookmark.read offline.access). Scrollhound never sees your X password.

After you connect, your 200 newest bookmarks import in the background, usually within a minute or two. New bookmarks are picked up every hour after that.

Terminal window
scrollhound bookmarks list [--limit <n>] [--cursor <cursor>]
scrollhound bookmarks search <query> [--limit <n>] [--cursor <cursor>]

list shows the most recently bookmarked first. search is full-text over the post text, quoted text and author handle; every word must match.

Terminal window
scrollhound bookmarks search "pricing playbook"

Reading your stored bookmarks is free. Only fetching new ones from X costs anything.

Terminal window
scrollhound bookmarks sync # fetch new bookmarks now
scrollhound bookmarks sync --full # re-import up to your 800 newest bookmarks

Use Disconnect and delete on the account page. It revokes the authorization at X and deletes the stored tokens and every stored bookmark.

If X stops accepting the authorization (you revoked it on X, for example), the commands say x_reauth_required; run scrollhound bookmarks connect again.
