Voice of customer from Reddit
Search Reddit for a problem, read the most discussed threads in full, and build a table of pains, exact quotes and links.
The jobFind the pains people describe in their own words, with links I can show a client.
Step 1
The prompt
In ClaudePick Voice of customer from Reddit from Scrollhound's prompts in the + menu and fill in the blanks.
In ChatGPTCopy the prompt, replace the parts in angle brackets, and send it with Scrollhound turned on.
Use Scrollhound to search Reddit for "<problem>" in r/<subreddit>, top posts from the past year. Read the 5 most discussed threads with up to 200 comments each. Build a voice-of-customer table with columns: pain, exact quote, how often it came up (count of comments you saw), and link. Then list the words customers use for the problem, the solutions they've tried and why those failed, and what they say they'd pay for. Quote people's exact words, put the link after every quote, and say how many posts, comments or videos you actually read. Don't invent quotes or numbers; if the sources don't support a point, say so.
Not set up yet? Add Scrollhound to Claude or ChatGPT in about two minutes.

Step 3
What comes back: a real run
Real run · 27 Oct 2026problem: scheduling toolsubreddit: socialmedia
What it read: A year of top r/socialmedia posts about scheduling tools, and 41 of 64 comments on the most discussed recent one.
| Pain | Exact quote |
|---|---|
| Too many tools | "I don't think using 5 different tools is necessarily the problem. It's having to jump between them and move the same stuff around all day lol." |
| Adapting one post per platform | "the biggest frustration for me is adapting the same content to each platform's different requirements." |
| Losing control to automation | "i'd want any edits after approval to put the post back on hold, especially if ai can make those edits." |
| Work lost in handoffs | "what actually helped wasn't one tool for everything, it was cutting the handoffs where work gets lost." |
All quotes: "Why am I using 5 different tools to manage social media?"

Questions
What does the Voice of customer from Reddit recipe need?
Scrollhound added to Claude or ChatGPT as a connector, and the problem or product category, in customers' words. It reads Reddit.
Does it make things up?
The prompt tells the AI to quote people's exact words with a link after each quote, to say how much it read, and not to invent quotes or numbers. Every quote links to its source, so you can check it.
Does it post anything?
No. Scrollhound only reads. It never posts, likes, follows or asks for your social logins.
