Best Claude connectors for marketers and creators

The Claude connectors worth adding for marketing and content work in 2026, from Canva and Notion to Semrush and vidIQ, plus how to fill the social media gap.

Short answer

For most marketers the core set is Canva for designs, Notion or Google Drive for briefs and docs, HubSpot for campaigns, and Semrush or Ahrefs for search data. Creators add vidIQ for YouTube. None of Claude's directory connectors read public Reddit, X, TikTok or Instagram conversations, so for social research you add a custom connector such as Scrollhound.

Claude’s directory has over 1,000 connectors, and most of them are for engineers and finance teams. These are the ones that earn their place in marketing and content work, checked against the directory on 27 October 2026. To add one, open Customize → Connectors in Claude and click +; for the custom ones, see how to add a custom connector.

The short list

Scrollhound Read Reddit, X, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram conversations Custom (by URL)
Sandcastles Short-form video outliers and scripts Custom (by URL)

Make things: Canva

The Canva connector searches, creates, autofills and exports designs. It’s the natural last step of a research chat: “turn these three hooks into Instagram carousel drafts in our brand kit”. It writes to your Canva account, so you’ll approve what it creates.

Keep the plan: Notion and Google Drive

Notion and Google Drive give Claude your briefs, content calendars and past research, and let it write new pages and docs. With Notion connected, “add these ideas to the Q1 content calendar” does what it says. Both use your permissions: Claude sees what you can see.

Measure: HubSpot and Supermetrics

HubSpot exposes campaign, email and content analytics, plus contacts, blog posts and landing pages. It can read and update, so keep approvals on. Supermetrics pulls numbers from 200+ sources, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. It reports on your own accounts, not on what other people post.

Search and competitors: Semrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb

Semrush and Ahrefs bring keyword, ranking, backlink and competitor data into the chat; Ahrefs includes Brand Radar, which tracks how AI assistants mention a brand. Similarweb adds web and app traffic, sources and audience overlap. All three use your existing subscription.

Video: vidIQ

vidIQ joined the directory in August 2026 and reads YouTube in depth: search, channel and video stats, transcripts, comments, trending videos and outliers. Its listing also mentions some Instagram and TikTok data. For a YouTube creator it’s the most complete YouTube connector in the directory.

The gap: public social media conversations

Search the directory for Reddit, X, TikTok or Instagram and nothing reads public posts and comments. TikTok for Business manages ads. Typefully and Metricool schedule your own posts. Supermetrics reports your own accounts. None of them can tell you what an audience is saying in a subreddit, under a competitor’s Reel or in an X thread.

Two custom connectors fill it:

  • Scrollhound reads the conversation: whole Reddit threads with up to 500 comments and the subreddit’s rules, X threads and replies, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram transcripts and comments, a creator’s recent posts, and search across all of them. Every quote comes with its link, and it only reads.
  • Sandcastles is built for short-form video: finding outlier Reels, TikToks and Shorts and turning them into scripts, from $39 a month billed yearly. If short-form scripting is your main job, it’s the better fit; it doesn’t cover Reddit, X or long-form YouTube. Our comparison explains how they fit together.

A stack that works together

Connectors pay off when one chat uses several. With Scrollhound, Notion and Canva connected:

Read the top 50 comments on <a competitor's TikTok or Reel> and list the five questions people ask
most, with quotes and links. Add them to my "Content ideas" page in Notion, then make a Canva
carousel draft answering the first one.

Claude reads the comments through Scrollhound, writes the page in Notion and drafts the design in Canva, asking for approval on the writes if your settings say so. For more research prompts like the first half of that one, see the recipes.

Questions

How many connectors can I add to Claude?

Directory connectors are available on every plan. Custom connectors, added by URL, work on every plan too, but the Free plan allows only one. With many connectors on, Anthropic suggests setting tool access to On demand so Claude loads them as needed.

Do connectors cost extra?

Adding them in Claude is free, but most need an account with the service, and some need a paid plan there: Semrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot and Supermetrics data comes from your subscription.

Can Claude post to social media through a connector?

Some connectors write: Typefully and Metricool schedule posts, and Canva and Notion create content. Scrollhound is read-only on purpose; it never posts, likes or follows.

Which connector reads Reddit or X?

None in Claude's directory reads public Reddit or X posts as of October 2026. Scrollhound, added as a custom connector, reads Reddit, X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Hacker News.
